James Tachie
James Tachie, of New York, United States, is a Success Academy alumnus with strong academic interests in medicine and hematology research. He is also interested in technology and its applications and hopes to continue exploring healthcare and scientific research in his future studies.
Tachie was a member of his school’s theater technology team, contributing as a technical crew member to school performances. Outside of academics, he enjoys working out and learning about technology. His personal experiences, including undergoing two bone marrow transplants, have helped him develop empathy, perseverance, and a willingness to support others. He approaches challenges by considering different perspectives and possible solutions while remaining determined when working toward difficult goals.
He is the Treasurer of Sea Dragons Gavel Club, serving from September 2026 through 2027, and a member of its Executive Committee during the 2026–2027 program year.
