Speech Contest begins at the club level within Gavel Clubs around the world. Winners from each contest category at the club level advance to the group level, where they compete with winners from 12 other Gavel Clubs in their group. One winner from each group moves on to the championship level, where group winners compete for the top three places.
The contest is designed to be structured, fair, and professional, with clearly defined rules, assigned roles, and a consistent contest flow. It brings together a diverse community of over 210 Gavel Clubs and members from regions including the Middle East, Southeast Asia, the USA, Canada, and more.
For many young Gaveliers, participating in this contest is a valuable opportunity to develop public speaking and leadership skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. The experience often serves as a stepping stone to further achievements in speaking and leadership on a global stage. Contestant fees cost 50 RMB (Waived for club members) per contest, and attendance is free for the contest audience. Check out the upcoming contests.
